Fantech’s Christchurch office has relocated to Portlink Industrial Park, Woolston in a step towards improving customer support.
“The new facility is double the size and only a short distance from the old premises. It has more off-street parking for customers, a larger showroom to display new products and greater warehousing capacity,” Fantech New Zealand Managing Director Mark Rickard said. “Fantech is the only fan company on the South Island to hold stock. We believe it is important to have a good supply of stock on hand so orders can be filled quickly and our customers can get on with their work and complete projects on time,” Mark said.
“This new building features 600 square metres of warehousing which will enable us to maintain superior service as business grows in Christchurch and the South Island. With increased storage capacity we can also look at extending the range of innovative new products we have in stock and therefore supplying them to customers on short lead times.” Mark said the new building also included a large training facility which would be used to provide valuable training on efficient fans and silencer selections for consultants, contractors and staff.
