Long Service A Key Component In Elta Success


The continuity of personnel, which has proved such an important and enduring feature of Elta Fans success in serving the ventilation industry, has been highlighted by the latest long service awards.

The awards bring the number of employees at Elta Fans who have worked for the company for over 20 years to 10. 44 employees now record more than 10 years’ service and a further 38 more than 5 years. Reaching their 20 year milestones are Paul Greenwood, Gary Muckleston, Matthew Targett and Tony Price; 15 years – Harry Bradshaw, David Brooks, Jason Hoskins and Steven West; and 10 years – Kelly Prestage, Monique Simmons and Toby Worrall. Certificates were presented to mark the achievements at Elta Fans’ Head Office in Fareham, Hampshire and at the Building Services premises in Kingswinford, West Midlands where Toby and Kelly are based.

Damian Buxton, recently promoted to the position of Managing Director of the Fareham operation, is himself a good example of a company philosophy that believes in developing its personnel and promoting from within –”I have worked in the business since 1997 when I joined as a Financial Controller and from day one it was clearly evident that Elta believed very strongly in investing in its employees. It is an approach which benefits both the company and the individuals concerned and the fact that we have so many long service employees is testament to its success, providing the depth of knowledge, experience and continuity that provides real benefits to customers.”
