Fantech welcomes Nick Heaton as the new Business Development Director of the Group’s Asia Pacific operations. Based in Perth, his main role is to develop business opportunities throughout the region.
“I used to live in Perth as a kid, and fell in love with the city again while on a family holiday two years ago,” Nick said. “At the time I was Managing Director of Envirovent in the UK, a member of the Soler & Palau Group. Upon my return I told the group leaders of our intention to move to Perth at the end of 2014.” Co-incidentally Fantech’s Business Development Director, John Bent, announced after 25 years plus he would be winding back his work duties to retire and spend more time travelling with wife Kim.
The timing was ideal for Nick to take on this role in November 2014. “I’m looking forward to adding my experience to the Fantech management team, help strengthen relationships with customers and offer new and innovative products which will ultimately help our customers to either move air more efficiently or improve their air quality, or both!” Nick added.
