Formed in 1963, Hydor is the oldest company in the Elta Group.
In the four decades since Hydor was established, it has become one of the leading brands in the provision of fans, controls and systems to the poultry industry worldwide.
But Hydor is much more
Over the years, the company has expanded into other agricultural and industrial markets with it's expanding range of products.
Since it's acquisition by Elta Group in 2003 the company has continued to develop, now considered to be one of the most progressive companies in the industry, with an enviable reputation in livestock ventilation and horticulture.
However, additional growth is spread more widely, with deeper penetration into markets in which Hydor has been a small operator in the past, as well as being enhanced by the launch of many new products aimed at both existing and new markets, in terms of application and geographical spread.
Hydor is itself a truly global company, with it's base near Salisbury in Southern England, there are also companies in South Africa, Australia and distributors across the world.
Hydor is part of the £85 million Elta Group, a family of businesses with operations in six countries on four continents which, together with a network of international distributors, provides quality fans and related air movement equipment to customers worldwide.
